Dog Training in Dallas, TX

About Us

Since 2014, ABOTC has donated $51,308 to rescue organizations in the Dallas area!

Every Wednesday evening, dozens of caring and concerned dog owners – just like you – come to the top of Flagpole Hill and have a wonderful time training their dogs.

Yes, it’s hard work a few hours a week, but the rewards – for you and your dog – are boundless.

All our instructors work for free. They instruct your classes because they want to encourage dog obedience, and loving and caring for your dog.

We train you… to train your dog!

Our Philosophy

“The value of the dog obedience training you receive at ABOTC far exceeds the cost of your donation. Our program teaches you how to truly connect with your dog, helps them become a better companion, and builds an unbreakable lifelong bond between you and your pet.”

One of the best parts of class is making new friends—both the human and doggy varieties! While it’s always tough to see students drop out early when the hard work kicks in, sticking with it is incredibly rewarding. Success just takes about 10 minutes of practice each night. It’s hard work, absolutely, but the lifelong results are worth every second.

Sometimes, even if your dog is a perfect angel at home, they’ll show up to class and act like they’ve never heard a command in their life! Please don’t worry—this happens to everyone. It just means they are learning to handle distractions. When your dog finally starts nailing the exercises in class, you’ll know they are truly mastering their lessons. Stick with it, and enjoy the journey!

Dogs look to us for so much more than just a sense of security. Unlike our human peers, dogs truly never get enough of our company. Their devotion is absolute, and their favorite place to be is always right by your side.
